Seems the genera should be split off. FunkMonk (talk) 20:01, 2 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

There is a total confusion in this article between ICZN (Zoocode) regulated names and phylocode names. Smith (2011, Zookeys) excludes the ICZN including at the species level. His new species are relevant only in a phylocode (not yet an official code) context. There is also a great confusion regarding the name Mancallinae, which is presented as a clade name (implicitely a phylocode name), with L. Miller (1946) as authorship, whereas it is (and of course was for Miller) a Zoocode regulated Subfamily name. It becomes urgent that Wikipedia provides a way in systematic sections, to clearly differentiate Zoocode names from "converted" phylocode uses. Wikipedia is clearly in a general ICZN (and other linnaean codes for botany etc), and it is normal since they are the official and overwhelmingly used systems. So names under other (incompatible) systems such as the Phylocode, at least should now be indicated by a special police or typology. Species names like those introduced by Smith (2011) should not be presented as if they were ICZN valid species names with type species etc. In addition, here Mancallinae should be presented, at least in parallel, as a Subfamily name.Birdy222 (talk) 12:19, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
Similarly, genera are not recognized by the phylocode, so the genera listed must be ICZN regulated, which is not compatible with the name concepts used by Smith (2011) publication cited.Birdy222 (talk) 14:12, 27 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
