Intend to update the article through references from factual sources in adherence to Wikipedia: Manual of Style/Biography edit

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have noticed how this article has not been expanded since 2012 in terms of it's content. I intend to expand the article based on current affairs and news on Manav Gupta providing a factual series of events through notable references found on the internet and adhering to Wikipedia: Manual of Style/Biography and Wikipedia: Biography dos and don'ts.

I have done no original research in compiling content to write here, but have been as thorough as I could in cross checking the factuality of data from available sources. I am only adding reputed sources as references, but please feel free to provide me with a feedback of any errors or mistakes that I may make.

I have found catalogued lists and references (about 300+ citations) detailing and highlighting Gupta's bibliographic evidence as found on his website in: https://manavgupta.in/library/ If there is any reference that may not be reputed, please feel free to explore alternate references on the topic that lead directly to the reputable sources covering said area/field/event.

My methodology of approach towards expanding the article:

Step 1: -> Create Section "Life and Career" Move and place citations and text from existing article in respective subsections. -> Create Section "Notable Works and Projects" Move and place citations and text from existing article in respective subsections.

Step 2: -> Based on the content of the article, de-peacock the summary section and provide a factual summary of the article in it's Lead Section/Introduction.

Step 3: -> Update Infobox based on the Article.

Step 4: Hope that my work inspires fellow Wikipedians to contribute to this article and expand articles on Wikipedia:WikiProject Visual arts/Public art and all articles in Wikipedia: Biography of living persons that have not been updated to their current existence.

Cheers. Max roosevelt (talk) 09:25, 7 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Discussion: Removal of template: peacock|date=May 2014 edit

Hi, I'd like to start the discussion in removing the following template that was posted on May 2014:

As one can note, the article has had significant improvements following and adhering to Wikipedia: Manual of Style/Biography and Wikipedia: Biography dos and don'ts in the edit of 2023.

In adherence to Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, I have done no original research on this subject. This is simply my contribution towards doing justice to topics such as biographies of living persons and adding to Wikipedia: WikiProject Visual arts. I'd like to believe that I have been thorough in citing notable references to any text placed in the article. The text used in the article does use facts and attribution to demonstrate it's existence.

I'd like to begin by adding a preliminary discussion as a justification for any terms used that need further clarity on why they have been included in my final revision of the article. Please note that I am open and receptive to any criticism on the matter and would sincerely appreciate your kind guidance and resolution on the same.

The banner was added over 9 years ago by @Freshacconci: who still seems to be an active editor, and who should have a chance to review the article to determine whether the {{peacock}} banner is still warranted. Dl2000 (talk) 23:06, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
