Untitled edit

A few edits back, this article included this paragraph:

Their death has since been shrouded in mystery and rumor. Before their deaths, one member (Julio) of the band had discussed having a dream where their plane crashed. In their final interview with MTV Brasil before boarding the plane, vocalist Dinho explained the plane was having problems with its radar, but they had supposedly been fixed. While some saw these things as signs, it led others to believe the group had faked their deaths, and purposely created the stories to add to the mystery

It was deleted for being "wildly speculative and unsourced."

I think there's a difference between saying "They might be alive" and "people think they might be alive."

It's like Elvis. The article on Elvis should mention that lots of people think he's still alive, because it's part of the culture of Elvis.

I dont think so. After their corpses appeared in internet, nobody even mentions they're alive. 200.222.3.3 (talk) 14:02, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Same with these guys. It's part of the culture of the band that lots of Brazilians think they're still alive.

Major edits edit

I've just done some major edits on the article. Here are some of them:

  • Fixed the infobox;
  • Created a separated article for the Mamonas Assassinas album, and moved all its content found here to the new article;
  • Created a "History" section, based on the references given (CliqueMusic and Acidentes Aéreos);
  • Changed the major structure of the article;
  • Provided refs and external links.

It would be great if someone could incorporate most of the introduction's content to the rest of the article, via new sections or something. Also, separated articles for the two remaining albums should be created, IF information based on reliable sources is given and notability is asserted. Btw, that's what I'm going to do. However, feel free to contribute if you already have information. Victao lopes (talk) 23:57, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

i'm not sure...but I think that one of the members had 27 years old when the accident happen...probably the older brother of Samuel —Preceding unsigned comment added by 189.54.107.222 (talk) 19:39, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fun Gnomes edit

Ok, whoever did it, it was funny, but unfortunately we have to leave it out of the text. 200.222.3.3 (talk) 14:02, 11 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
