I suggest if we want to point out "predominantly male", there's no reason to also point out it's predominantly Somali. The source used states with directly and clearly:
"the majority of the older Mali Boys were Somali,"
The "diversity" refers to the children the gang exploits to sell drugs. Not the central gang elements who supply, enforce and profit from the activity. 2A0A:EF40:64:D201:5973:BE44:C9AE:FC5E (talk) 07:23, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
