NOTE: In Turkish version of this article, the writer argues that Malhun Hatun or Mala Hatun (not Mal Hatun) was not the daughter of Sheik Edebali, she was the daughter of an Anatolian Turk Bey (Lord) Ömer Bey. The second wife of Osman I was Rabia Bala Hatun and just she was the daughter of Sheik Edebali. Both Mala Hatun and Rabia Bala Hatun was Turk, not Byzantine pride as being the some wives of the next emperors.

Limorina, I know it is highly likely that Malhun is Osman's first wife historically, but people are disputing this a lot recently, so we should probably find a source for this, either for the body or the lead. IronManCap (talk) 10:35, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

Malhun Hatun, Mal Hatun, Mala Hatun or Kameriye Hatun (d. November 1326) is the mother of the second Ottoman sultan Orhan Gazi and one of the wives of Osman Gazi.

Mal Hatun Tomb, located in the easternmost part of Sheikh Edebali Zawiyah and with a lower floor, is covered with a dome with body walls made of rubble stone on a square plan.  The floor difference between both buildings has been eliminated with a few steps of stairs.

Malhun hatun Grave

many people are confused about Malhun's grave. Malhun with her children was burried inside Osman's tomb but an earthquake in 1855 damaged Osman's tomb and some graves inside it. And Malhun grave was one of them. It is clearly mentioned on Osman's tomb that there are 17 unidentified stone coffins inside his tomb 203.81.203.108 (talk) 05:32, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
