i have removed a gng tag from the article as i believe it meets WP:GEOLAND. There are a number of online snips that establish that it is a locality, here they are:

James Hitchman, a farmer, died at Malebo in 1889
the National Library has a map showing the Parish of Malebo
Michael Mullins of Malebo enlisted in WWI
Malebo Range is a range of hills close to Malebo
it had a hotel
the publican, William Williams became bankrupt
a Mr and Mrs Mullins lived there
Harriett Medlicott, a Sydney dentist, was born there

a Mr Birch lived there, and his brother died there of a farming accident
Malebo was included in a 1900 mail contract (page 54)
Malebo conducted a Victory Tree celebration
other residents included the Lovells, Edward Scott, and the Droughts
Malebo Memories is a book about life there
