I was wondering about the origin of the word "malcontent." It seems to me that it could be Catalan, since there was a "Revolta dels Malcontents" in Catalonia, and the word literally means "badly satisfied" or "badly happy" in Catalan. But I don't know if it was incorporated to English through other languages.
