COI & NPOV edit

Recent edits by IP editors and user Qu3stionThatN33dAnsw3rs, who claims to be the subject of the article, seem questionably neutral and sourced.

Descriptors like "internationally recognized" and claims like "London brings vim and vigor to his energetic performances tackling tough contemporary issues head on." and "Malcolm London is called the Gil Scott-Heron of this generation by Cornel West", are dubiously neutral and are either unsourced or copied from self-published sources.

Multiple paragraphs added to the Malcolm_London#Politics section don't site any sources, and the sources the Malcolm_London#Accountability section is quoting from seem to be self-published.

I think the article in it's current state needs a lot of work to be up to WP:BLP standards, though I'm not sure whether reverting to 1047352591 would be appropriate? The "Sexual assault allegations" section in that revision doesn't state exactly what its sources do, which seems like a big deal for such a big allegation in a WP:BLP article. In the current revision that section has been replaced with what amounts to basically a self-published statement though. Davepeta (talk) 23:27, 21 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

I noticed this articled stated the subject had been arrested for sexual assault allegations and I could not find a reliable source beyond tabloids or twitter posts. I replaced a section with the BLP source code in an attempt to rectify. Please advise. GenZXY (talk) 16:23, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

The subject was arrested in 2015 but it seems they were charged with assault and battery of a police officer. When I looked into the sexual assault allegations I could only find self published articles or things on social media. I do not concur that the subject ever was involved with the legal system at all. Please advise. I have heavy concerns considering the nature of the section. GenZXY (talk) 16:31, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not done: Concerns over COI violation in light of confirmed sockpuppetry removing COI tags, apart from that, the sources provided contradict each other and since it's a contentious matter a change would this would require WP:CONSENSUS anyways. ★Ama TALK CONTRIBS 14:36, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
