Aurivirus = Haliotivirus? edit

It seems to me that what Savin et al. termed Haliotivirus has been officially included in the ICTV taxonomy as Aurivirus. Can I get any confirmation (and subsequent changes to Haliotivirus)? Thanks Bervin61 (talk) 21:17, 17 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

I can confirm this; see here. The currently accepted generic name is Aurivirus, but the species is still Haliotid herpesvirus 1. Ypna (talk) 09:27, 6 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

One (well done) informatics paper isn't sufficient cause to start spamming your paper on how ITRs can cause integration, without evidence that such integrants can be part of a productive infection.

Self promotion is frowned upon, but acceptable with extraordinary proof. Self promotion on association isn't enough for me bru. Testtubewaltz (talk) 04:54, 1 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
