nitpick edit

"Aurora" means "Island of Recreation"? No, she was the Roman goddess of the dawn. Or the glow in the sky from particle interactions between the solar wind, Earth's magnetic field, and the upper atmosphere. I'm deleting this interpretation unless someone can provide evidence to the contrary. -- KarlHallowell 15:25, 12 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Meaning edit

Could someone correct the meaning of Mākatea? "Mā" doesn't have any other sense than "pure" only. Then, "k" in "-katea" isn't there for euphony, but just the equivalent of the hard . I can't correct myself because the edit button is hidden by the wikipedia logo. Eva.i.uta (talk) 18:57, 19 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Pearl Harbor edit

I do not understand why Pearl Harbor is mentioned in the sentence "USS Caiman towed the Nasarada to Pearl Harbor"? Is this Pearl Harbor? --NearEMPTiness (talk) 07:38, 8 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
