Many new selection codes exist from today, 29 sept 2010, and most of the old ones are invalid. I'm removing the existing table for now. 195.11.103.126 (talk) 14:46, 27 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Update for new 2007 database?

edit

I've made a few minor corrections and additions here but the residue selection codes shown (which make up quite a large section of the article) are now out of date since the introduction of the 2007 database in July this year. I'm initially reluctant to spend time updating them because I'm not sure how useful this information is to a casual reader. Any thoughts? Andy Berry 21:55, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

> I was looking for a page on the numeric codes used for mail, but when I found the table, I was extremely confused. I am in the DT11 postcode area, but all my bulk mail has the number 51121, which does not exist according to the table.

Mailsort was only rebranded in April 2012. The technical details as described in the article still apply to the Business Mail and other products. Walksort has disappeared though. Periglio (talk) 10:37, 5 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
