The article on Maia Szalavitz has a picture of her that is unfocused and, arguably, poorly framed. Also, she is more attractive without her glasses as she is so pictured in other images. I suggest replacing the picture to respect Ms. Szalavitz and readers.

Her article about OxyContin was mentioned in Empire of Pain as "One journalist, who was sympathetic to Purdue's cause, wrote an article in Slate on the 'myth' of the accidental addict, accusing Bloodsworth of spreading hysteria and disinformation and suggesting that, in reality, people who died from OxyContin were 'just plain druggies.'"
Probably one of the darker contributions of Szalavitz.
