=== Raj Vinod Mahakavya (1462-1469) ===

Under the patronage of Begada, Udairaj, a brahmin poet authored Raj Vinod Mahakavya in Sanskrit praising Mahmud and describing some incidents related to his life. He has compared Mahmud with Hindu gods and goddesses in multiple shlokas.[1] Though not relevant to the narrative, knowing Mahmud's ill-feeling towards Maharana Kumbha, Udairaj mentions Kumbha in humiliating terms and belittles him so as to gain the favour of Sultan.[2]
