The much anticipated debut album by Nikki, the well-known whistling Kadazandusun songstress from Malaysian Idol I is out & produced by Artistes United Records, a sister company of Ning & Associates. Ning Baizura is the Executive Producer cum mentor for Nikki. Nikki is currently managed by Vernon Kedit-Jolly.

The cover looks professionally done, and it comes in a dual-CD jewel case, and should attract a wider audience. First CD comes with 12 tracks plus a hidden track, which comes up to 13.

One has to hear for him or herself to experience the rich music and diversity of the instruments used. From violins to beat-drums to techno. There's a wide range of musical sounds, and this album sounds like it's of intenational standard. It's true that the 1st track is always the one that has the possibility to make or break a person's perception of the album, and YES! Imaginasi is an excellent track, with the violins playing in the background, it's a masterpiece. Then the listener is treated one-by-one to such nice music, Caramu feat. Zahid is quite catchy, with Zahid doing his usual rapping (Zahid is from Akademi Fantasia). Track 3, Perang atau Cinta deserves some mention, as it's one really catchy song, the beat and the lyrics, and not to be forgotten there's that cute Nikki laugh. Cinta Baru is a ballad song, with a few cute English phrases like "Would you be my boyfriend?". and yeah, there's Nikki's laugh again. Her title track, Aku Maharani is really catchy, with cool lyrics and techno instrumentation... "Akulah dinamit! Awas merbahaya" is part of the lyrics of the song! This song is a total breakthrough in Malaysia's industry. By listening closely to it you will have a feel of Mariah Carey usual upbeat songs with her powerful vocal but the only difference here is the song is in Malay and performed by a Malaysian, but still with the powerful vocal intact. Likewise to Caramu. Her first single, Pinta, is a classic ballad, smooth to the ears with powerful vocal and her WHISTLING sound too. The music, the range of her voice, the whistling, the violins! GREAT! This track is already being played in the local radio station premiered in FM103.3. Sunudai Oku, is sung in Nikki's native tongue, bahasa Dusun, and this song is BEAUTIFUL!

Disc 2 comprises of remixes and minus ones.Vintage Mix of Pinta is one of the remarkable track. With the scratches and 'glowing' effect, It brings a touch of nostalgia.

Daripada segi pembikinan album, dengan 'range' suara, koleksi lagu dan susunan muzik, sudah cukup memuaskan untuk nama baru seperti Nicollett Palikat (Nikki) mendaki tangga kejayaan di dalam industri rakaman. 'Range' suara yang tinggi menambahkan kelainan kepada Nikki (dengarkan 'whistling' ala Maria Carey). Bagus apa yang dibuat oleh Audi. Kalau Madonna bangga dengan Confessions on a Dance Floor, Nikki juga tidak malu dengan sentuhan Audi ini - referring to Maharani. - Rating Album 'A' (Mesti Beli). Mesti Beli means MUST BUY in English.

Small text

While I used some "small" text, why is half the text now inside the "small" tag. I do don't think this is part of any standard, if it is, please cite where it says that. Also, please don't abbreviate "feat", as there's no need for abbreviation, when there's ample space for whole words. Rather than reverting (losing some good changes), I'm hoping just these points will be fixed. As it stands, I find the article less readable, then it was before. --Rob 04:10, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

The thing with small text is that I've come across some album articles with small text for the songwriter, and it really should be appropriate, considering the track length hasn't even been added yet. The previous version of using a box to list the title, composer and lyricist is not even used on album articles, so sticking to WP:ALBUM it ought to be just a simple list. I'm not sure about your monitor size, but even on a 17 inch one, there's barely enough space for song titles, songwriters, track length and additional notes without it spilling onto the next line. One reason I had the table, is it avoids repeating the same headings over and over. But, you were correct that the bulleted list is the standard. But now I think there's a problem of squeezing things on one line. I think the current version is troubled because, its unclear who is the composer, and who wrote the lyrics (difference between comma and semi-colon is vague). I think given we're using a list, I wouldn't worry about using multiple lines for one song. The nice thing about going to multiple lines, is it makes it much easier to add more useful information, such as:

1. "Song Title 1"
   • Composer: Audi Mok and Nur Fatima
   • Lyrics: Nur Fatima
   • Track length:  ??:??
   • Original recorded by: Pretend Name
   • Description: This is where I would write something really useful and interesting if I knew anything at all about this song.
2. "Song Title 2"

I think we shouldn't try condensing information to one-line per song. Lets have a format that allows us to give more info, and even prose. There are different ways of handling extra information, but I hope we can break out of a one-line limit. My original table was one approach, this multi-level bullet is another, and I'm open to other ideas. --Rob 07:26, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

That sounds good, but I'm not sure having so many empty spots and placeholders is a viable idea unless it could be filled. I haven't had a chance to listen to the album yet actually, but I'm considering using your approach for other album articles that I know.
