.41 Mag missing edit

Maybe I'm stupid, but, how'd the .41 Mag get left off? (.44 came out 1st, Dirty Harry used it, "just don't get N respect"--even tho it'll do most of what a .44 will...). Don Pendleton's toughguy Joe Copp used it. So there. (OK, OK, so Bolan used the .44 AMP. Whaddya want?) Trekphiler 19:35, 4 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Isn't that it there at the bottom, .44 Magnum?--Commander Keane 20:33, 4 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
The .41 magnum is not a true magnum cartridge, not having been derived from a less powerful .41 caliber cartridge. It was actually originally called ".41 Special", but the name was changed to ".41 Magnum" as a marketing gimmick. It should probably be removed from the list. As funny as it may be, why is the magnum condom under handguns?

Distinction? edit

Why is this split into

  • Magnum may mean
  • Magnum may also mean

I can't see any distinction between the two headings (clem 23:09, 26 May 2006 (UTC))Reply

.500 edit

Why isn't there any info on the new .500 magnum

Condom edit

Why is the condom under weaponry? Funny stuff :D

It appears ther is a condom brand or something under that name...it is not just for weaponry.Keserman (talk) 20:14, 26 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

incomplete! edit

.41 magnum is still called a magnum, and plus, the .500 s&w magnum, the .460 S&W magnum, and others are missing.Plus, the .22 WMR,.357 mag,.44 mag,and most other handgun-SIZED magnums can be and are used in both rifles & carbines, and handguns.so for any magnum cartridge that is not too big to fit in any handgun other than perhaps the Magnum Research BFR,which probably could come chambered in these but doesn't,and definitely has no rifle chambering, and al least somewhat few don't,listing it as either a rifle or handgun cartridge is really somewhat questionable...cheers,Keserman (talk) 20:08, 26 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
