Characters cleanup

edit

Now that the overview article has been created, the next step in the plan (discussed here) is to cleanup the character pages and the general list. --Koveras  08:44, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Regarding this edit... While I agree that the a linebreak tag should not be used lightly in templates, in this case, its use is the result of a conscious design decision, aimed to improve the readability and comprehensibility of the article contents. The template in question is used in a table, therefore the geometrical alignment of individual data elements does play a role here. Additionally, I would like to point out the aesthetic value of the linebreak tag use in this case: right now, the table looks just ugly. --Koveras  08:53, 6 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

It might be a better idea to put it on the user's talk page, since s/he probably won't read this talk page. AngelFire3423 (talk) 02:10, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
It's up to the regular editors of the article in question to decide how it looks IMO. But I'll forward the message to Tim1357. --Koveras  10:30, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
I agree, i have added this template to the list of te errors false positives. I will skip these pages that have this template from now on.Tim1357 (talk) 11:23, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. :) --Koveras  19:48, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

wtf?

edit

The franchise takes an innovative approach to the magical girl genre, focusing equally on characterization and magical combat.

What's innovative about that? Sailor Moon did it earlier. 2.25.142.126 (talk) 00:30, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please use {{fact}}. --Koveras  08:27, 21 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Titling

edit

Given the notability as a franchise, should we make this page simply Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and move the current article with that name to Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (2004 TV series) or something along those lines? Wonchop (talk) 02:06, 15 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

What is the official policy regarding this? --Koveras  06:07, 15 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Not sure about official policies, but in general, series that have spawned into larger franchises tend to use the main title for the series article and an identifier for the original game (as well as others that use the same name). The largely pertains to video games, but anime series such as Pretty Cure also use this format to distinguish it from their first series (in this case, Pretty Cure (2004 TV series)). Considering the number of anime and manga that have been spawned from the franchise, this action just seems to make the most sense. Wonchop (talk) 14:05, 15 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Well, WP:MOS-AM says that the main (undisambiguated) page should be reserved for the original format of the series and contain links to other titles of the franchise. But this is already out for our case, since we have a series page providing the overview over different installments. I think you should just ask the people actively working on the anime project what the best course of action would be, and see what they reply. --Koveras  15:52, 15 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

@Harimua Thailand: Please list your sources below and we'll see how we can work them into the main article. --Koveras  13:05, 31 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
