J. E. Lloyd, Owen Glendower: Owen Glyn Dŵr (Clarendon Press, Oxford, 1931), describes in detail how Gruffydd ap Madog Crypl succeeded his father (whose lands had recently been in wardship) in 1304, aged about six. This seems to leave no room for there to be a second Madog. Accordingly this articel fails WP:V and should be deleted.
