I think I recall "Madame's Place" being a nightly (Monday to Friday) show, which accounts for the 150 episodes. -- azumanga 00:38, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

The lead paragraph does state that the show aired daily and notes 150 episodes, but the IMDb entry is incomplete on this subject. Since the number of episodes is so unusual, a verifiable source for that factoid would be great. TAnthony 01:14, 7 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

There are 75 original half-hour episodes. The discrepancies date back to 1980s trade ads. In March 1982, Paramount had a multi-page ad for their shows that proclaimed there were 75 episodes available, which seems to be the complete and accurate tally -- however, they also put together hour-long recap shows for broadcasters to run on the weekends (which should add an additional 15 hours, if I'm doing the math right). Subsequently, Paramount ran ads in the back of the trades that listed their show titles and episode counts. Over the next few years, for Madame's Place, it bizarrely fluctuated back-and-forth between 91 (which would be correct counting the recap shows and the unaired pilot) and 150 episodes. These ads can be found in publications available on worldradiohistory.com - I'm not going through the effort of linking them. Adding further confusion, there are currently 51 episodes that fans have uploaded to YouTube, so at some point, somebody incorrectly concluded that was the total count. 65.255.86.46 (talk) 08:41, 27 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

The image Image:Wayland Flowers and Madame.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
