Earliest use of the term? edit

Hi all, I created this page a while back to describe the concept that I was introduced to via the talks of Jesse Ausubel. He traces it to De Rosnay's 1975 book of the same name. De Rosnay credits the term to Odum in 1972, as do other workers who have been known to call it "Odum's macroscope". However within the last few days I did a search of Google Scholar and discovered earlier uses of the term: Hargreaves and Blacker in 1966, referring to computer-overviews of data in psychiatry, Bagby in 1959 for history, and Sommers and Vinge in 1957 for mapping (geography), all now added to the article. If there are any earlier uses out there, please let me know or insert them into the article! Regards - Tony Rees Tony 1212 (talk) 02:59, 23 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Just found an outlier use of the term going all the way back to 1895! - now added as a note. But no detail in the original - maybe more out there... Tony 1212 (talk) 19:12, 25 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
