Merge proposal edit

I propose that IPA chart for Macedonian to be merged with this article. Any objections? --Hegumen (talk) 08:26, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Go for it. :) BalkanFever 08:58, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ништо не би направил без твојата согласност бидејќи ти прво ја напиша статијава. Знам дека начелата наведуваат дека статиите се без сопственик, но сепак би било безобразно да ти ја избришам статијата без некакво „согласување“. Поздрав, Hegumen (talk) 09:44, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Нема ништо. Кога можи информација да се мрдни до подобра статија, или со разделување, или со спојување, ќе се согласувам. BalkanFever 09:58, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I also support the merge. If you look at this discussion, the IPA chart for X pages are likely to be converted into help pages as they are otherwise two articles covering the same topic. I don't think we transcribe Macedonian enough nor do we have adequate sourcing on Macedonian phonology yet to really implement such a scheme. — Ƶ§œš¹ [aɪm ˈfɻɛ̃ⁿdˡi] 18:04, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

[m] before [f]? edit

Really, careful speakers do not assimilate /m/ to /f, v/? kwami (talk) 00:37, 3 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Schwa edit

How is it not necessarily a phoneme in the standard language? The standard does not allow for the "dark vocal", as it's called. --124.148.214.154 (talk) 10:14, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is from the source cited: "Although schwa is phonemic in many dialects... its status in the literary language is marginal." Take a look. It goes on to statee the environments where it's found. Do you have a suggested wording change? — Ƶ§œš¹ [aɪm ˈfɹ̠ˤʷɛ̃ɾ̃ˡi] 22:06, 28 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
