What the heck happened to this article's history? There were about 3 years of history for this article, including a copyright violation in the last 2 weeks that has all but disappeared? --Daysleeper47 19:40, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Congressional Report

I have looked everywhere for a source for the sentence; "Since the members are able to edit the Congressional Record before it goes to print, there is no mention of the actual use of the mace in this capacity." I've tried looking at all results from this Google search, but I can't find anything. The search is further complicated by the existence of someone named George Mace, which the Congressional Record mentions, resulting in a lot of unrelated search results. I'm considering removing this sentence if no one can find any source for it. Puzzledvegetable (talk) 23:54, 22 November 2018 (UTC)

Images mirrored?

There are two images of the Mace in this article. In one the eagle is looking to the right and in the other to the left. I can't find why this is. Is one of these images mirrored or are there multiples maces? Sj. Hemminga (talk) 11:13, 20 March 2019 (UTC)

August1, 2019 I believe it is a mirror image, the eagle faces to the right. Someone must have pasted the image backward. On the Official site from the government, the eagle faces to the right. Murielschild (talk) 23:57, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Murielschild

Picture requested
