Regarding the gaps in the First Grade Premiers table edit
Hello,
I have added a short section to the History covering the years 1914 to 1954. I have also converted the list of 1st Grade Premierships to a table. Premiers from the years 1914 to 1945 were researched using Trove. I've included the Berrima premiers but not those from the Southern District Junior Rugby League competition in which Campbelltown, Camden and later Picton and Thirlmere played. Camden won an SDJRL premiership in 1923, but my SDJRL premiership list is not yet complete. For the Group 6 years 1946 to 1954, I have supplemented the premiers (and coaches) from the replaced list with scores, runners-up and links to the Trove articles.
The premiership table for 1955 to 2016 is taken from the replaced list and the written history. There are blanks with scores and runners-up to be filled in. Unless Group 6 Association has kept such records, this would need to be gleaned from Microfilm copies of the local newspapers. They are available in the State Library of NSW. They may also be available in a library of two in the Southern Highlands region that Group 6 covers. As I reside outside the region, it is not my intention to carry out such research in the near future. I would welcome efforts by others interested in Group 6 Rugby League to fill in the blanks in the table.
