Some sources, e.g. Fauna Europaea, indicate a distribution for this species beyond N.Z. Unless this can be confirmed, it is better not mentioned. It contradicts other sources, e.g. New Zealand Organisms Register (NZOR), so to avoid contradiction in the WP article, the unconfirmed records should be left out ...
