Nickname

edit

I lived on the Whidbey Island when the Cathlamet was on the Mukilteo run, so I know the "Crashlamet" (or a variation like "Crashslamit") nickname is accurate, but I can't find a source. Surlyben (talk) 19:08, 28 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

2022 crash

edit

I don't know anything about modifying Wikipedia, but the results of the WSF investigation into the July 2022 crash were released recently finding the captain at fault. USCG and NTSB investigations still ongoing. Info including the official report available here, if someone else wants to update the page: https://www.kitsapsun.com/story/news/2023/03/30/ferry-cathlamet-crash-fauntleroy-dock-captain-error-investigation/70064905007/ 24.113.239.214 (talk) 02:35, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

NTSB report released, finding fatigue and complacency to be the causes. USCG investigation still ongoing.
