All of the sources I've seen indicate that the "MSG Western New York" name is just alternative branding for the programming MSG shows in Buffalo and Rochester. Is it really its own "network" as this article claims? PowersT 13:10, 21 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
It is my understanding that it will be a channel for viewers in Western New York taking the place of the main MSG channel on Cable there and as a sub channel on Satellite. It is upgrading from a game cut-in feed to a actual channel with other shows being brought in and created for programming that apparently it will be expanding on so it will be a separate channel with a different schedule and shows from the main MSG for at least a good part of the day. it will mirror the main MSG channel at other times like Fox Sports Oklahoma is to Fox Sports Southwest and like those two it needs its own article.
