Major League Baseball is arguably more associated with "MLB" than Mother Love Bone. I cite the myriad links throughout other articles that link to "MLB" and are referring to Major League Baseball (and such links would have to all be changed were Mother Love Bone associated with "MLB"); I also submit that, at least amongst the people I associate with, and taking them to be a sample of the general population, "MLB" evokes Major League Baseball in their minds, not Mother Love Bone. Not to say that Mother Love Bone isn't worthy of respect, it's just that notoriety begs for MLB to redirect to Major League Baseball instead, IMHO. Fragholio 14:23, 27 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've never heard MLB used to refer to Major League Baseball - I've always heard it called Major League Baseball or just Major League. But I suppose I live in Australia and things are probably different in the U.S, so yeah, whatever. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.186.135.233 (talk) 06:08, 28 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I had reverted the MLB redirect to Major League Baseball mainly because there were several links in other pages that implied/counted on MLB referring to Major League Baseball. To be fair, other possibilities for what MLB might point to should be discussed - something a little more worldwide, rather than simply American-centric? Until then, I think MLB pointing to Major League Baseball is reasonable. Fragholio (talk) 05:57, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
