Misc

Isn't the Itanium technology much younger? (After SGI decided to migrate to the Itanium architecture in the mid-1990s)

Mentioning the use of the R4000 in the Nintendo 64 might be useful.

Cambridge office is now closed

As of the 31st of March 2008 the Cambridge facility has been closed down.

R6000 needed

Mention should be made of MIPS only ECL offering in the R6000. Once of the nicest uniprocessors I ever ran on for the brief time I had access. 66.122.34.11 (talk) 17:05, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Citations

I've removed one of the citations for the introduction of the first MIPS set-top-box at CES. In general, 85 citations for an article this size, without much debated statements, seems a little much to me. Since Android Lollipop will be supporting MIPS, i hope MIPS is alive enough that someone will clean it up.PizzaMan (♨♨) 17:45, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
