Hey, has anyone seen the MGM Television Entertainment logo on television before? Does it still appear today? King Shadeed 23:11, 30 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, have you survive the MGM wallpaper '59 at the end of "Tom and Jerry" on Boomerang reruns? With music and the roar of Jackie II? Austin A. 22:16, 28 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

After the logo ended in 1970, the "Leo Wallpaper" logo has been found on YouTube! Cool, huh? Austin A. 00:30, 29 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

NO!!!! I not keep the wallpaper logo and it changed to the new 20th Century Fox logo! Austin's scary logo machine 18:19, 22 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

That's not what I'm talking about. We can keep the MGM lion wallpaper for the gallery and use the logo of MGM Worldwide Television Distribution for the main logo for this article. See what I'm saying? King Shadeed 13:40, 26 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I CAN'T! WE CAN'T KEEP THE MGM LION WALLPAPER! WHAT I SUSPOSED TO SAY, IN THE WORDS OF DAVID ALEXANDER; BYE, BYE MGM LION WALLPAPER - HELLO FOX CGI SEARCHLIGHTS! 24.241.112.192 18:56, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Since we cannot keep the MGM lion wallpaper, we need an image of Tanner in the wallpaper logo. Austin's scary logo machine 08:26, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:MGM Domestic TV Distribution 1 0001.jpg edit

Image:MGM Domestic TV Distribution 1 0001.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Drop Viacom as its TV and home entertainment to form CBS Paramount Television and now CBS Television Studios?! Oh, my goodness! This world has just become weirder and weirder! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.169.218.175 (talk) 15:36, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned references in MGM Television edit

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of MGM Television's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "dl":

  • From MGM Networks: The Deadline Team (August 1, 2012) UPDATE: MGM Networks Sale To Chellomedia To Fund BuyBack of Icahn Shares: LAT. Deadline.com.
  • From United Artists: Fleming, Mike Jr; Busch, Anita (September 22, 2014). "MGM Buys 55% Of Roma Downey And Mark Burnett's Empire; Relaunches United Artists". Deadline. Penske Business Media. Retrieved November 4, 2014.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 23:08, 14 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
