Missing Money Is The Story

The previous lead paragraph indicated that MF Global was a "victim" of the European Debt Crisis. Well, I think the missing money is the story here. Dlawbailey (talk) 21:26, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

You are probably right - but only time will tell (if we let it). Ottawahitech (talk) 14:17, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
Agreed. Although, I'm beginning to think that the repos may be the larger story. See next section. Would be interested in your comments.184.77.224.46 (talk) 22:54, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Head section too long and detailed

The head section is too long. The details of how it went bankrupt (all but the first parag now) should be merged into the article's body. Perhaps split off the last sentence ("A series of perceived liquidity problems and large fines and penalties dogged MF Global starting in 2008, and led to its bankruptcy in 2011.") into a 2nd parag and flesh it out with a little more details (just a little). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 187.106.62.53 (talk) 22:00, 4 July 2014 (UTC)

Nothing that happened in 2008 including the $10million fine had a thing to do with the missing billion plus dollars in 2011. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.224.251.239 (talk) 08:30, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
