This is almost unreadable. This must be made by a Thai contributor and contains Tinglish! guу! 19:26, 11 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Scope edit

This article originally covered the analogue channel commonly known as Channel 9 (Thailand) (in its latest iteration branded as Modernine TV). It was later expanded to also include the digital channel 9 MCOT HD (the naming used in official English sources). Both simulcasted the same content, and the analogue channel has now ceased broadcasting, so the digital channel can be seen as the successor of the analogue channel—it's the same station anyway. Should the article cover both the analogue and digital channels, or should the digital channel be split into a separate article? --Paul_012 (talk) 06:25, 19 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think that's the right route to go (one article for the history of the analog and digital services), and I now agree on the name after seeing articles like this one that use "9 MCOT HD" and the fact that "9 MCOT HD" turns up quite a few hits in Thai as the full name of the channel. Thanks for the comment. It seems the network might have undergone recent re-branding, but sources are rather unclear. I'll look into this a bit more before making more detailed suggestions. --Paul_012 (talk) 05:31, 29 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Move discussion in progress edit

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Mexican State Public Broadcasting System which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 08:03, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Post-move comment edit

Raymie, I think lumping this article in with that mostly unrelated discussion was rather inappropriate. The new watchlist filters out bot edits by default, and many editors (myself included) probably missed the discussion. Alternatively, I would have appreciated a direct notification since you were proposing to revert an edit of mine. The move has been re-done, though, so in any case I would appreciate your input on the query I raised in the above section, which is directly related to the issue. Thanks. --Paul_012 (talk) 14:21, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

I apologize for that (I was more frustrated with the moves that had been done unilaterally and Bankster's apparent pattern of doing this). I will respond in the above section. Raymie (tc) 18:20, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
