Is the motorway between the tramway lane island and the M61/65 island? [1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paul Weaver (talkcontribs) 2005-08-16 17:57:04

Highway Agency Responsibility

edit

I removed the Highway Agency responsibility black band in the Junctions List as it does not add any information that is not already in the article and also it is unsightly. If others feel that this informaiton should be catalogued for all matorways, then I think that the appropriate place would be the reference box rather than the Junction List.

The recommended Wikipedia standard for Exit Lists is that notable structures and boundaries should be shown. I am not happy with the M4 representation of the England/Wales border and it is one of the things that I plan to look at. I have also moved coordinates out of the junction lists, but have retained references to them (for example, the article on the M62. Martinvl (talk) 20:40, 18 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Possible source

Hi Dr Greg, hope you are keeping well. What do think about this as source? [2] I think that the books they have published would certainly be fine, but I notice that the site has not been widely used here. The content should cover everything needed. TiB chat 18:40, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

The home page of that website certainly makes it sound like an authoritative website. I suspect it could be accepted as a reliable source for Wikipedia purposes. -- Dr Greg  talk  21:41, 20 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

It runs from just south of Preston through the major junction of the M6 and M61 motorways, east past Darwen, Blackburn, Accrington, Burnley, Brierfield, Nelson and ends at Colne.

edit

It surely runs in both directions. This sounds like a one-way street.
