Proposal To Merge This Article With The M1 (Istanbul Metro) Article edit
I propose that this article, and the Istanbul LRT M1 (Istanbul Metro), be merged in to one article.
(Note: A parallel discussion on this topic is going on at the M1 (Istanbul Metro) Talk page.)
This article is newer, and is more tightly focused on the M1A branch line rather than on the entire Istanbul Hafif Metro system (as the current M1 (Istanbul Metro) article is), thus it seems more logical to merge this article into the M1 (Istanbul Metro) one, and then to delete this article.
Once the two articles are merged, the M1 (Istanbul Metro) article should then be retitled something along the lines of "M1 (Istanbul Light Metro)", or more likely "M1 (Istanbul Metro)". (Note: Article move, done.)

Follow-up: The old "Istanbul LRT" article has now been renamed to M1 (Istanbul Metro). The previous 'merge' proposal still stands (and is, in fact, made more urgent by this development...). --IJBall (talk) 21:10, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
