Ammunition edit

I changed the first sentence: The gun fired separate loading, bagged charge ammunition, with seven different propelling charges, from 1 (the smallest) to 7 (the largest). To: The gun fired separate loading, bagged charge ammunition, with up to seven different propelling charges, from 1 (the smallest) to 7 (the largest).

From my professional experience in the military, they can use just a one bag, a one and two, or all the way up to all seven bags. Changing this sentence helped to make that a bit more clear. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.214.25.105 (talk) 16:55, 10 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Designation edit

What is the rationale behind using the postwar designation instead of the original, especially given that the weapon is most famous for its World War II use? Just curious.--172.190.68.35 (talk) 06:45, 21 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
