No, the descriptions of Exit 5 and Exit 8 are not accurate (Exits 45 and 42 on US-23, north of Ann Arbor. Also, "Exit 5" is not signed as such from M-14; approaching from the east the jucntion is simply not labeled.

The Exit 45/"Exit 5" has the three levels stacked, top to bottom as follows:

--Ramp from Eastbound M-14 to Northbound US-23

--US-23 South mainline (onto combined US-23/M-14)

--M-14 West mainline (from combined US-23/M-14)

Similarly, Exit 42/Exit 8 is stacked top to bottom as follows:

--M-14 East mainline

--Ramp from M-14 West to Us-23 south

--US-23 North mainline onto the combined stretch

Also, the substandard M-14/Barton ramps at Exit 4, directly opposite the Huron River from the Main St. ramps, are not listed in the exit list. The Westbound ramps are fine, but Eastbound has a 15 MPH hairpin exit, while the eastbound entrance has a stop sign at the point where the ramp enters the freeway, with no acceleration lane.

BTW, it should be noted that the Beck Road exit is a Parclo A4.

At least the discrepancies with the top levels at Exits 5/45 and 8/42 should be corrected in the article. The article states that the top level is the US-23 main lanes, which is the case at neither junction. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.213.212.203 (talk) 04:29, January 19, 2006 (UTC)

The entire route description section was gutted and rewritten in the style typical of highway articles in the WP:USRD project. What was here before was essentially a list of bullet points on each interchange, but not a description of the route the freeway takes from end to end. There was too much detail on minutiae of the interchanges, and nothing on anything in between. Imzadi 1979 → 06:05, 26 April 2012 (UTC)

Recent, yes. Notable no. It was only two weeks ago and already nobody cares. In fact checking http://news.google.com/news?hl=en&ned=us&q=m-14+crane you can see that it was never mentioned again after March 29th. Which is exactly the type of non-historical event that should be confined to WikiNews -- KelleyCook (talk) 14:04, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

Reassessment

I've organized things a bit, and it's now a C-Class, but to get to B-Class, the entire RD needs to be done in prose format, the history sourced to more than Michigan Highways, etc. Imzadi1979 (talk) 03:27, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
