Please contact Bill Kratville at his home address, below, to ask him how he now concurs that the designer --- Harley Earl --- behind all GM's famous mid-century transportation designs originally played a seminal role in the design of the UP M-10000 and M-10001 trains

While personal contact info is not appropriate for an article (Wikipedia is not an address book), the confirmation from another source should be followed up on. Slambo (Speak) 15:33, 7 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fuel type query

edit

I came to this article from a link on Royal Blue (B&O train) referring to exotic fuel. This article makes reference to distillate. Does this mean gasoline/petrol rather than diesel, or some other fuel? Could someone clarify this for me, and possibly incorporate this clarification into these articles? It is not diesel, it is not gasoline/petrol. It is distillate. It is a different fraction of petroleum than diesel or gasoline. At one time it seemed to be a fairly common fuel choice in early non-steam powered trains. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.134.235.147 (talk) 02:50, 26 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
