It is not likely that Elen Ferch Llywelyn was the wife of this Scottish lord, since by the time he reached maturity, she would have been 40 years of age. Moreover, Elen was married twice. First to John of Scotland, Earl de Huntingdon and secondly to Robert de Quincy.
