Fair use rationale for Image:Lyn bb.JPG edit

Image:Lyn bb.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Assessment edit

This article has enough information to be B-class, but it is almost entirely unreferenced and fairly messy. If someone cleans it up a little, writes a better WP:LEAD and puts in some good references, it would be B-class. -- Ssilvers (talk) 02:00, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Personal life edit

I've tagged this section since it's without sources and reads terribly. It includes a lot of irrelevant information, such as her car getting broken into (!), running a pub from late 06 to Feb 07 (hardly a success then, and too short a time to be noteworthy) and being a supporter of Sunderland - including a Panto appearance there. I don't want to remove the info, since whoever wrote it knows more about the subject than me, but remember this is an encyclopedia and deals simply in facts.--Tuzapicabit (talk) 15:39, 9 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, but I was braver than you. It was purely a fan site, not in any way encyclopedic in nature. The whole article lacks references, and has been cropped accordingly.

Emergency Ward 10? edit

She may have appeared on Emergency Ward 10, I don’t know that she didn’t, but if she did she didn’t do it after she left the group in 1974 as the article says, because Emergency Ward 10 ended in 1967… Jock123 (talk) 12:54, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Birthplace edit

She was born in Wythenshawe in 1949, 18 years after the town was transferred from Cheshire to Manchester. Her birth was registered March 1949 in Manchester. The entry in the info box is not correct because it includes Cheshire. I've deleted "Cheshire" from the box. PårWöet (talk) 07:22, 12 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
