Source: "In 2019, in several interviews she mentions that in her album she refers to female empowerment, since it is not very common to see women singing with mariachi. One issue holds back approval of alt 1. The source says the song was sung in honor of her grandfather, but the text of the Wikipedia article does not include this fact.
