As with many of the space probe pages, there is an excellent description of the technical aspects of the mission (timeline, instruments, etc) but virtually nothing on the results of the missing. This should really be changed, there must be a number of papers out there from which one could collect interpretations and possibly pictures...

Right... I've added links to NASA's results webpages, which are slightly hidden within the Lunar Prospector site. This should suffice until someone (maybe me) summarizes them for Wikipedia. One-dimensional Tangent 05:01, 3 May 2005 (UTC)Reply

Is this a real photograph? It looks fake or as if the image was computer generated. Burntsauce 17:08, 25 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Water Ice Search unsuccessful? edit

Why does this article say that water ice was not found, however the links at the bottom for the Lunar Prospector site state that water ice was indeed found, and in abundance? User:SaveTheWhales 31 July 2009

I just noticed that myself. NASA entries get a whole lot of vandalism from conspiracy theorists and people that simply refuse to accept that the organization has had successes. There's also a lot of trolling and "anti-American" sentiment associated with it. Here is the Lunar Prospector site boldly stating they found water ice: http://lunar.arc.nasa.gov/results/ice/eureka.htm 173.164.81.245 (talk)
