The term should not point to this guy. Mort Henderson was using this gimmick back in 1915, and did it so well that soon there were dozens of wrestlers around the country copying him. This guy is not the original, he is not even the original copy.
I agree, dozens, if not hundreds of people were more famous as the Masked Marvel before this guy. It is a travesty this name points to him.
