In case anyone noticed, I tried to renominate this page for AfD, since it's not been expanded for two weeks and I hoped that consensus could be achieved on a second go-round, given that many of the keep votes last time were 'keep and expand'. However, since the AfD notice links back to the old discussion, I removed the AfD notice (I assume I can do this given that I put it up and took it down after one minute), and will see if articles can actually be renominated. I apologise for not making sure whether articles could be renominated for AfD. --Last Malthusian 09:13, 14 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Given some people's clear biases against renominations (I'm pretty certain a lot of people don't bother to read anything or think about it when they see a renomination, but just decide it should be kept because it was kept before, regardless of how bad the mistake was) and the faulty reasoning that was already present in the first AFD, I'm going to just make this a redirect to the HIM album that's the only legitimate use of the noun-phrase "love metal". The falsehood will still be in the article history, but at least it's not going to be masquerading as an article anymore. The Literate Engineer 17:14, 15 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Factual? edit

This was kept on a no-consensus, but those who claimed it was keepworthy never provided evidence of the existence of this "genre" in any form other than the one HIM album. If this article is about a legitimate genre, proof will be given in the form of 1)music publications using the term or 2)record labels promoting their bands as a part of this genre. Until such time as this evidence is presented, this article ought not be considered factual. The Literate Engineer 00:32, 2 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
