What about Louvers on car windows? 208.106.104.40 (talk) 03:26, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I think this should be mentioned. There were quite a few cars that had louvers or optional louvers. Exmaples would the pre-70 Ford Mustang, the AMC Spirit AMX or the mid-80s Dodge Charger. Does anyone know current cars that can be ordered with optional or non-optional, factory installed louvers? --188.101.135.65 (talk) 12:50, 20 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Potentially conflicting information? edit

In the lead section it's stated that for louvers "the angle of the slats may be adjustable" but in the section on jalousies, it says that the "key difference between louvers and jalousies is that louvers are in fixed position." Which one is it? Can anyone verify one or the other? Otozori (talk) 19:44, 10 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Comparing this to the jalousies page, I see that there is ambiguity both ways. The etymology of jalousies (why isn't it explained for louver/lover on this page?) suggests it is as applicable for fixed as for movable. Steve8394 (talk) 22:13, 24 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
