She was not married to Gordon Jenkins. His wife was a member of the Kay Thompson choir. Source: A close fried of Loulie Jean. She also, I believe, dubbed for Dorothy Dandridge in an important TV version of "Porgy and Bess."
Correction II: Loulie Jean Norman was never married to Gordon Jenkins; she was married to Norman Price. She DID sing for Diahann Carroll in the film version of "Porgy and Bess". She worked for Gordon Jenkins many times, as well as singing in most of the famous movie musicals produced in Hollywood. She was also famous as the lead voice in Jud Conlon's Rhythmaires, a group that appeared regularly on the Bing Crosby radio show.
