I am the person whose career is described in the page "Louis Legendre (oceanographer). Hence I am in conflict of interest for the page "Louis Legendre (oceanographer)". Many aspects of my situation have changed since this page was created, and its now in part outdated. For example, my French university (Pierre et Marie Curie University, UPMC) was merged with other universities to form Sorbonne University in 2018.

Ocean Louis, first of all congratulations on these awards and on a very successful career. However, I think that it is not appropriate to mention this many awards in an encyclopedia article. I was wondering if you would be willing to select five awards, among all the ones you have received, to keep in the article. @Ocean Louis and JBchrch: Hello, this request has been answered and I ask that you please honor it. The updated list of accolades is not all-inclusive and so the section heading Select awards and honors still fits the page. For reference, I did review several good articles on scientists with longer lists of accolades (Katherine Johnson, Marie Curie, Vera Rubin) and found that some scientists have a separate page dedicated to their accolades (Niehls Bohr, Einstein).
