Plagiarized article

edit

The "NPS" tag in the article suggests someone was proud that the article incorporated text from a National Park Service website. However, based on how that tag is associated with plagiarism in other articles, this is a clear indication that the article is plagiarized. I suppose if it is plagiarized, it is better to acknowledge that than not. The article is now a mess, a mixture of plagiarized text and newly written text. I am inclined to blank it out and start over, although that could lose some newly written text. I marked it with "refimprove" tag for the moment, may return to blank it all out. doncram (talk) 20:34, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I also downrated the article to Stub as it is apparently plagiarized. doncram (talk) 20:34, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

site associated with Stanford accounting scandal?

edit

This house may be associated with an accounting scandal involving Stanford's use of Federal grant monies. Cedar lining for closets and flowers for the president's home were paid for via overhead charges to grant funds that was found to be technically inappropriate. One news article relating to that is "Stanford to Alter Its Accounting Of Overhead on Research Grants" by ANTHONY DEPALMA Published: July 23, 1991 New York Times article. Was this house the university president Kennedy's home at the time? doncram (talk) 20:48, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Is the name correct?

edit

I've only ever seen the house referred to as the Lou Henry Hoover House in campus documentation not as the Lou Henry and Herbert Hoover House so which is correct? --Erp (talk) 03:44, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
