Please follow process - which in this case would be WP:AFD, I think? Notability: 825 google hits, mostly referencing her infamous publishing exploit, including national media. In fact, she now gets referenced when other people do it. I fail to see how violation of BLP applies - the only citation request is about a non-controversial statement about her publishing company. There are several options for removing unencyclopedic content; AfD is one of them, but a redirect (with partial merge) is another, generally more preferable option. A previous AfD is generally insignificant, particularly given how long it's been since this article went through that process; policies and mindsets shift. While I appreciate your recent contribution to the article, it lends credence more to the publication's notability than the author's. --EEMIV (talk) 01:06, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

I disagree - Another Hope, unlike most "controversial" books, isn't available (well, [http://www.amazon.com/Another-Hope-Lori-Jareo/dp/1933456027/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1230634327&sr=8-1 usually :-) ), and noone will remember the book itself in a couple of years, just the debacle. Whereas it does appear as I mentioned above that "pulling a Jareo" may enter the lexicon. I'd support merging Another Hope in to this article. The availability of the text is irrelevant, and Wikipedia is not a crystal ball for either whether folks will remember a topic or a neologism will take root. In fact, that "pulling a Jareo" phrase doesn't yield any Google hits for the exact wording (ditto "pull a Jareo"). If Wikipedia doesn't cover neologisms, it certainly isn't a breeding ground for creating them. Additionally, there seem to be no reliable sources that discuss this author separate from her involvement with the notable work -- and such coverage is a requisite for articles on authors. How about you spend the next week or so looking for reliable sources that discuss Jareo outside the context of Another Hope. If they're there, maybe I missed something and we can examine them for possibly retaining this article. However, if all the reliable sources that mention her do so within the context of Another Hope -- and because it is the text rather than the author that garnered third-party coverage -- the best solution is to redirect this article to the notable text.
