Talk:Lord-in-waiting

with all due respect but this article does not say what a Lord in waiting actually is. It just says that usually they occupy the function of whip

I believe we have an error edit

I believe we have an error, but I'm not sufficiently expert to be sure.

We say: "Lords in Waiting (female Baroness-in-Waiting) are members of the House of Lords who hold office in the Royal Household of the Sovereign of the United Kingdom." But we go on to mention Viscount Hood in the article as being a Lord-in-Waiting (which news reports adequately confirm). But the current Viscount Hood is not a member of the House of Lords.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 14:46, 17 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Having received no objections, I will make a small change now to attempt to rectify the error.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 15:30, 13 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
