The result of the move request was: move Lord's Supper to Lord's Supper (disambiguation), Eucharist to Lord's Supper. -- tariqabjotu 04:54, 24 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Result amended to remove move of Eucharist, as there was no notification at Talk:Eucharist until July 23. -- tariqabjotu 09:19, 24 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Lord's SupperLord's Supper (disambiguation)Eucharist is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for "Lord's Supper" (Lord's Supper should redirect to Eucharist). Several large branches of Christianity almost always refer to the Eucharist as the Lord's Supper. I don't think it is common at all for the other two items here to be called the "Lord's Supper". • Support move per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. StAnselm (talk) 20:33, 14 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose – This seems like a stretch for primarytopic. Dicklyon (talk) 23:43, 14 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support move of Eucharist to Lord's Supper and a move of the disamb page to Lord's Supper (disambiguation), as per clear primary topic. The article discusses the Lord's Supper in multiple branches of Christianity, few of which use the word "Eucharist". Many branches of Protestantism use "Communion", but everyone can agree on Lord's Supper. Red Slash 06:45, 15 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per Red Slash. bd2412 T 12:54, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support Red Slash's solution. "Lord's Supper" is a sort of WP:COMMONALITY. "Eucharist" may be used in some Protestant branches, but it's really not a term you'd find among evangelicals, for example. --BDD (talk) 17:28, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • I support Red Slash's proposal per WP:COMMONALITY as there are several large branches of Christianity (even many non-Evangelicals) who never use "Eucharist" but I do not know of anyone who objects to "Lord's Supper". But if this fails I would still support the original proposal. I have left a message at Talk:Eucharist. I would request everyone be clear as to whether they support the primary proposal (making Lord's Supper redirect to Eucharist) as well as the secondary proposal (moving Eucharist to Lord's Supper) in case the secondary proposal fails. --JFH (talk) 22:44, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
  • Support I agree that having two articles on the same subject is redundant; though I would prefer it to move in the opposite direction, I can see RedSlash's logic, and I defer to the term used by the greater number of Christians. - Ecjmartin (talk) 23:17, 23 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
