Hudson Bay not visible edit
Longue Pointe is about 85 km south from Hudson Bay, so it is impossible to see it from ground level. Or you would need to be 555 m (1820 ft) high, see: Horizon. -- P199 (talk) 17:20, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm requesting that we rename the page to Longue Pointe (Quebec), since we should be using the English variant (ie - unaccented) of the provincial name on the English Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Canadian Wikipedians' notice board/Style guide for details. Mindmatrix 20:06, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

- Longue Pointe refers to the geographical feature (peninsula) and not a community or settlement (there isn't any). So according to WP:CSG, it should be Longue Pointe or Longue Pointe (Quebec). -- P199 (talk) 16:41, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
