Number of locations
editIt is known that two restaurants continue to exist, so I disagree with the decision to list "0*" as the number of locations in the infobox. I understand that these restaurants are not owned by the same company that went bankrupt in 2017, but I disagree that this change in ownership automatically redefines the chain as "defunct". There were about 16 restaurants still open when they were sold out of bankruptcy court to some new, undisclosed owner - surely that still constitutes a "chain" even if not under the same corporate parent? — Preceding unsigned comment added by The Bon-Ton (talk • contribs) 04:04, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'm good with the change that was (ultimately) made here, and agree in hindsight that '0' was not the right answer, but nor was the opening of this article at all accurate about the state of the corporation and its restaurants at the time I made changes. I like that it now lists (2) locations, but is clear in the opening that these are independently owned and operated, and do not directly have anything to do with the chain restaurant, which ceased to exist in 2017 by way of chapter 7 bankruptcy.
- Unless there is citable proof that each of the above two restaurants (or additional restaurants if identified) are all (still) owned by the same parent company, we should assume that they are independently owned and operated from one another. Before I touched this article, it actually implied that they were still owned and operated by the former Lone Star Steakhouse company, which is certainly not true.
